(Alexandria, Virginia) – Legendary entertainer Pat Boone, spokesman for the national non-partisan senior citizen group the 60 Plus Association today announced that Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming has earned the group’s Guardian of Seniors’ Rights award.

Chairman Jim Martin, who founded 60 Plus in 1992, commented, Mike Enzi can be counted on to protect Social Security and Medicare, fight to repeal Obamacare and end the 'death tax.' As a trusted public servant, Mike Enzi will continue to protect the pocket books of senior citizens and end the wasteful spending of our tax dollars, which has our government now borrowing over 40 cents of every dollar to pay its bills. Diana and I are proud to join Jillian Balow this Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum to celebrate her new coloring book, "The Tales and Trails of Estelle Reel." The event is free and open to the public. If you're in Cheyenne, stop in to meet Jillian and get a copy of her great children's book about one of Wyoming's greatest historical figures!

DID YOU KNOW that there is a piece of Wyoming in every MillerCoors product? Miller Coors Barley in Worland produces some of the finest barley in the world, exclusively used for beer. They produce nearly 150 million pounds of barley a year - and a pound of barley makes a gallon of beer! Barley is to beer as grapes are to wine, and Wyoming plays a critical part in producing some of the most popular beers in the country.

Wyoming has more than $17 billion in state funds. Having an experienced leader to protect, grow and invest these funds is crucial and that’s why I’m pleased to support Mark Gordon for Treasurer. As State Treasurer, Mark has been a great steward of Wyoming’s dollars and investments, helped to improve the efficiency of government and worked to ensure our students are more financially literate when they graduate. During his tenure in office, Mark helped produce $936.5 million in investment revenue and returned $1.4 million of unclaimed property to Wyoming citizens. Mark is the leader we need to grow and diversify our economy while keeping our state strong and financially sound. I encourage you to support Mark Gordon on November 4 for State Treasurer!

Great visit to Lander Middle School! I was especially impressed with the smart, thoughtful questions poised by students. Thanks to the administrators, teachers and students for hosting me!

Tremendous progress being made at the Wind River Job Corps site in Riverton! Slated to open in 2015, this facility will help train a highly-skilled workforce for positions available in both Fremont County and across Wyoming. The facility will offer life skills education and job training in the areas of energy production, CDL driving, heavy equipment mechanics, welding and various other careers. I was proud to help bring this first Job Corps Center to Wyoming and can't wait for its completion.
